CLIENT REFLECTIONS

CLIENT REFLECTIONS

Some clients thoughts and observations of The House over the past five years:

“When I first came to BFH, I had been stuck in a cycle of applications, uncertainty, and increasingly low confidence. The work helped me narrow things properly, improve how I was positioning myself, and approach interviews far more strategically. I later secured a role within a leading London property and investment environment that genuinely suited both my personality and long-term goals.”
Auralia R., London

“The process felt very different from what I imagined career coaching to be - it was not traditional and uniform, I knew that I wasn’t being taught exactly the same as Faye’s other clients on a repeat. It was thoughtful, calm, and highly individual. Alongside improving my CV, applications, and interview performance, Faye also helped me understand the wider market much more clearly. I ultimately moved into a graduate role within financial services after trying for so long to stand out amongst so many others pitching for the same opportunities.”
— Bertie S., London

“What stood out was how naturally the conversations flowed whilst still being incredibly structured underneath. The work helped me regain momentum during a difficult period and think much more clearly about where I actually fitted. I later secured a communications and brand-side role that felt far more aligned with both my strengths and the kind of working life I wanted long term.”
— Olivia.M., London

“Before working with Faye, everything felt noisy. I was applying constantly, second-guessing myself, and losing confidence quite quickly. The process brought a level of calm and clarity that genuinely changed how I approached things. Within a few weeks, I felt far more like myself again — and importantly, far more effective. I have kept in touch with Faye and she recently advised me on a salary increase in my role in client relations for a political PR Advisory, which I achieved.”
— Toby.V. D., London

“Before working with Faye, I had no real structure to my job search. I knew I was interested in venture-backed startups, but I had no clear way of identifying the right companies, understanding where opportunities existed, or positioning myself effectively. The process helped me build a much more focused approach. From creating targeted company lists and understanding startup ecosystems to using AI tools for research and ATS-friendly applications, everything became far more strategic. Within a few weeks, I felt significantly more confident, organised, and far better equipped to navigate a competitive market.”
— Chloe S., Norfolk

The experience changed far more than my CV or interview technique. It changed the way I thought about work, direction, and what actually suited me long term. I came away feeling clearer, more proud about my achievements to date and how I could express what I have to offer. I go tmy dream job working for an Art Gallery with progression to become a Design Consultant. I was and far less overwhelmed by the whole process of searching for something so niche and Faye treated the end goal with as much commitment as I did (seemingly) - she was always in touch nudging me and is such an ideas person!”
— Lilly, F., East Sussex

“Faye brought clarity and commercial realism to what had felt unnecessarily confusing. I secured my first role with her guidance as a PA for a HNWI with international travel and I am hoping to move to Hong Kong with the Principle family having relocate them. I am beyond happy she took the time to think outside the box for a role that would suit my organisation skills and love of different cultures — importantly, I never even knew such a career existed before. Through the The House Garden Bench I was introduced to an Alumni member who explained what it was like to be a Private PA before I started applying and this access to first hand research was invaluable.”
— Sopfia, L., Hampshire

“Everything felt considered and specific. This reflected how organisations actually operate, not how careers are discussed at school. I am puzzled by the lack of support you get before starting life outside of education - Faye and Bespoke Future House bridges that gap. I have recommended BFH to over six friends now from school and university.
— Kobe, P., Geneva

“The fluid two-way problem solving approach made a tangible difference. Faye was like a pier, teacher, expert guide and mentor with the knowledge and wisdom that you would want but the communication style of an equal. We were taking on the challenge together, she made me stop hesitating and started deciding. I am thriving in my role at Amazon in the Logistical Futures Team.”
— James, H., Edinburgh

The House Career Bible remains the most useful recipe book to even have been penned! I love food, but didn’t know how to make a career in the industry as I never wanted to be a Chef. Faye and I researched the nutrition market together and also the possible future of it and how it is changing, the trends and likely consumer demands going forward. I am now working for an incredible VC backed wonky vegetable company thats supports British Farmers in a B2B Sales role and I love it! I completed the courses after university and I am currently working with Faye again to prepare for my next natural step on after three years. The Career Bible doesn’t date.
— L.S., West London

“Once I understood how to get from point A to point B and that you can’t jump in your job search straight to Z, everything sharpened — applications, interviews, decisions. I am now in my fourth year working as an Analyst for a global renewable energy company and often share my experience with new BFH members starting out in the industry.”
— Monty, K., Oxfordshire

“At key moments, having a listening ear and intelligent sounding board was invaluable. Faye opened my eyes to the importance of getting choices right at this stage for future proofing enjoyment in work. I am a Relationship Manager in an independent stock broker and going on to further qualify with the financial investment of the company that Faye helped me get offered to join.”
— Jonty, H., Surrey

The Wellness Bible gave perspective and removed the dramatics for me. I felt steadier, balanced and practicing perspective ultimately put me in a position to get on and get up again. I love my role now, working for RHS in the events and sponsorship. I work for a small team who are amazing and I can’t see myself leaving or needing Faye again, however that is her own doing!”
— Archie, D., London

“Learning about The Vagus Nerve and tools for coping with stress really helped me survive my second job and be able to manage it whilst being mentored by Faye to get me out of a company that was not the right fit and into my third career step. The Wellness Bible strengthened how I handle pressure during a demanding search and generally. Practical and lasting - I am back on track in media production.”
— Lucy, W., London

The Vision Board sits in our kitchen and quietly reminds me where I am heading. What I found particularly valuable was that it was built from a much deeper process than simply choosing images. Through exercises such as Ikigai, I was encouraged to think carefully about what genuinely motivates me, where my strengths lie, and what I want my life and career to look like over the long term. The result is something that feels personal, meaningful, and grounded in real reflection. It has become a daily reference point, helping me stay focused on the bigger picture and make decisions with greater clarity and intention.”
— Emma, S., Cape Town

“After a significant investment in education, we wanted thoughtful decisions. The structure and perspective were exactly right. Faye struck a defined and well tuned balance between us and our son uncovering his more aligned suitability to the creative world and away from law… That was four years ago and Faye is now mentoring our twins as they finish A-Levels having decided against university. We really feel this partnership is worth it’s weight in gold for the children’s futures.
— Parent, Suffolk & London

“Confidence grew in a way that felt sustainable. We choose the retained mentoring for both of our children, Faye was with them throughout the final stages of education through to first, and in our daughters case, second jobs in London. She has been a midas touch.”
— Parent, Yorkshire

“I returned to regular mentoring and private advisory sessions when considering my second move. The thinking still holds years later.
— Alumni, London

“our daughter is now working internationally, following her dreams. The clarity gained through working side by side with her during the research phase was a god send. She continues too check in with Sophie regularly and I have recommended BFH to many friends with children who are “lost at sea” with their job search’s.
